The carwash chain “Mike’s Carwash” is going to donate an amazing $111,555 To Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

They raised the money via a few wildly successful fundraisers at several locations in Indiana and Ohio. At the annual Mike’s Mentors Kids fundraiser, half the proceeds of every Works wash(a $15 value) was donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Fundraising took place at 39 Mike’s Carwash locations and the proceeds will go to 10 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in both states.

“We couldn’t be more proud of our partnership, and the work that Big Brothers Big Sisters accomplishes. We are very committed to their mission of bringing positive change to young people,” said Mike’s Carwash CEO, Bill Dahm.

“We’re very excited that we are able to donate nearly $20,000 more than 2012, and we are extremely grateful to our customers who helped make it happen.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters, the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, holds itself accountable for children in its program to achieve measurable outcomes, including educational success; avoidance of risky behaviors; and higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships.
