MacNeil Wash Systems uses Electric Drive technology - or Quiet Drive - on all brushes. Going all electric provides many benefits. First and foremost, it simplifies installation and keeps the wash bay clean by eliminating hydraulic hoses and the problems associated with hydraulic drive equipment. Also, as the name implies, operation is very quiet.
The soft start feature and overload protection extend the life of all components by allowing the motor and gear box to spool up when starting, or stall should the equipment meet too much resistance while washing.
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology allows for precise and easy speed adjustments through the tunnel controller. This is clean and easy, saves time and can significantly reduce utility costs. MacNeil's Quiet Drive technology is more economical to operate and costs less to maintain than hydraulic equipment, saving you money on each vehicle washed.
